This is how you do it

Mix sugar, water and the habanero pepper. Cook until the sugar has melted. Scrape out the vanilla seeds and add to the sugar mix. Put aside to cool. Cut the fruit into small pieces. Pour the cold sugar mix over the fruit pieces and leave it for an hour or so before eating.

Tip!  Serve this if you like to surprise your guests a little. It is hot and sweet, just like a Swedish summer evening. :-)
