In October 2012 we started our search for seven unique adventures to follow during 2013. We received over 100 applications from all over the world. Now, we have chosen the finalists that we will be able to follow in their adventures. Please find the finalists here

The jury represents a variety of expertise and consists of a sparkling group of Light My Fire co-workers and friends. All with different levels of outdoor experience but all share the same passion for the outdoors!

Caspar Odqvist

Passionate for: Prefer snow to rain, however live in the wrong country for that.
What I do on my day off: I must keep active to stay sane, so if nothing better is available go for a run or the gym, but if opportunity arise we’ll take the canoe out or I’ll drag my son and partner up some mountain (in Scotland there is plenty, they’re not high but rough).
Describe yourself: Full of ideas, easily bored, but very passionate when doing what I want.
What do you normally do for work: I work with Light My Fire in the U.K. I also have a couple of shops selling Scandinavian outdoor stuff: www.nordicoutdoor.co.uk

Inge Solheim

Passionate for: philosophy and psychology, and my nature experiences and expeditions is my university.
What I do on my day off: Adventure is my life, but when I am not on a expedition, I spend my time with my family and friends, or challenge myself on something outside my comfort zone.
Describe yourself: Happy, optimistic, kind. Hard and strong when I have to.
What do you normally do for work: Work as an adventurer, polar guide, public speaker and coach business clients. Helping people to bridge the gap between ambition and ability.

Heléne Nilsson

Passionate for: Love running and the simplicity of the movement. Love mountains and the beauty of the great outdoors.
What I do on my day off: Going out for a long run while planning my next adventure.
Describe yourself: Always have an extra smile in my pocket and don’t shy from a good challenge.
What do you normally do for work: Working at Light My Fire as a Coordinator of Fire and Product development.

Graeme Esarey

Passionate for: I am passionate about sailing, skiing and climbing, and I spend several weekends each year family camping with my wife and two daughters.
What I do on my day off: On a day off, I can usually be found on the ski slopes in the winter or on the water in the summer.
What do you normally do for work: When not sailing, skiing, or hanging out with my family I do marketing and product development for Industrial Revolution.

Christoffer Nordin

Passionate for: All things outdoors, especially if it has to do with mountains.
What I do on my day off: A perfect day off includes skiing followed by a logfire and a glass of Laphroaig.
Describe yourself: Young at heart, stubborn and with a wry sense of humor.
What do you normally do for work: Advertising creative

Johanna Eklund Arnerius

Passionate for: shoes
What I do on my day off: Spending my perfect days together with my family, preferably at the ocean.
Describe yourself: Energetic mother of three with interests in high fashion and country life.
What do you normally do for work: Strategist within Marketing & Communication at Light My Fire.

Calill Odqvist Jagusch

Passionate for: fire.
What I do on my day off: I am outdoors with the family! Hiking, canoeing or just grilling hotdogs over an open fire!
Describe yourself: Stubborn and passionate about the outdoors. Dedicated to setting the world on fire!
What do you normally do for work: Together with a fantastic team, build a brand based on fire and dreams!
